Overview
Leonida is the fictional state in which Grand Theft Auto VI takes place Confirmed. Rockstar's pre-order announcement describes the story as a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, and its official site calls the setting home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond. The site also refers to it as the sunshine state.
The six regions
Rockstar's People and Places pages name six regions to explore Confirmed:
- Vice City, the glamorous city.
- Leonida Keys, a tropical archipelago.
- Grassrivers, the wetlands.
- Port Gellhorn, a faded coastal stretch.
- Ambrosia, an industrial heartland.
- Mount Kalaga, a national park near the northern border.
Other places named
Rockstar also names the Leonida Penitentiary, where Lucia was held before the story begins. Confirmed
Size
Rockstar has not given a map size on the official pages we opened. Press figures comparing it to earlier maps are not on the official pages, so we leave them out. Unconfirmed
