The official videos

Trailer 1 arrived on December 4, 2023 and Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025. The Extended Look arrived on August 27, 2026, on Netflix and YouTube, and Rockstar's page says it was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. Confirmed

Setting

• The game is set in Vice City and the state of Leonida. Rockstar's pages describe the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and the wider state around it. Confirmed
• Rockstar names six regions: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. We have a short wiki entry for each, starting with the State of Leonida. Confirmed
• Rockstar's Only in Leonida page names the regions and the people tied to them. We list names only and leave out scene-by-scene detail.

The two lead characters

Both are playable and presented by Rockstar as the center of the story. Confirmed

• Jason Duval is described by Rockstar as a former Army recruit from a criminal background who now works for local drug runners in the Keys, looking for an easier life.
• Lucia Caminos is described as recently released from Leonida Penitentiary and determined to secure wealth and stability.

The premise

Take-Two's release text from Rockstar says that when "an easy score goes wrong", Jason and Lucia land in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida and must rely on each other more than ever. Confirmed

Rockstar's Only in Leonida page profiles Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, the rap duo Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder. Confirmed
