The short version
There are two editions. Standard is $79.99 and Ultimate is $99.99 in the US Confirmed. The $20 gap buys an add-on collection of vehicles, weapons, apparel and in-story shops. Both ship on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Pre-order bonuses
Everyone who buys before November 20, 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack Confirmed. Rockstar describes it as a flashback to when the neon burned brightest: the two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage, the Ocean Beach area, outfits and hairstyles for both lead characters, and a weapon pattern. Rockstar's store says to order before November 20 to get it at no extra cost, while supplies last. One wrinkle: the Xbox listing words the cutoff as before November 19. Follow the date on the store where you buy.
Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+. On PlayStation you must claim it by March 31, 2027, it is limited to one claim per account, and it renews monthly unless you cancel. The Xbox listing says the month is redeemable within 180 days and is not available to child accounts with restrictions on age-restricted content. Confirmed
What Ultimate adds
Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition is a collection of items "threaded across all aspects" of the story. Named items on its official page include the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Shitzu Squalo, Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers, personalised weapon variants, and shops such as Sara's Unisex Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor and One-Eyed Willie's Mod Shop. Rockstar says those shops are only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.
Standard owners can also buy an Ultimate Edition Upgrade. The Xbox listing prices it at $20.00, and the Rockstar Games Store page says you can upgrade after purchase through the PlayStation Store. Confirmed
Physical vs digital
- Standard can be digital or code-in-box. The box holds a download code and no disc. Confirmed
- Ultimate is digital only. Confirmed
- The physical version, with a download code inside the box, is available starting November 12 to support pre-loading, per Take-Two. Confirmed
- Rockstar also announced a collectible set, The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, sold "while supplies last". It does not include the game, and outlets report a price of about $399 (about 349 pounds). We could not open a Rockstar page showing the price or contents, so it is not in the table. Unconfirmed
Other regions
PlayStation UK lists Standard at 69.99 pounds and Ultimate at 89.99 pounds. The Rockstar Games Store lists Standard at 79.99 euros. We did not see the euro Ultimate price on an official page. Confirmed

Purchases before November 20, 2026 get the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Do I need a disc drive?
Physical copies are code-in-box, so no disc is involved.
