Take-Two Interactive used its first-quarter fiscal 2027 report and earnings call on August 7, 2026 to restate that Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The company also kept its full-year net bookings outlook at $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion, and reported $1.39 billion in net bookings for the quarter.
The date in your calendar is still the date.
In the earnings release, CEO Strauss Zelnick tied the unchanged forecast to excitement about "the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI". Confirmed On the call, he described pre-order performance as exceptional but cautioned that pre-orders "remain cancelable" and that the company does not yet know how they will convert into sales. Confirmed Take-Two gave no pre-order count in the remarks we read, so any unit figure you see online is an outside estimate. Estimate
On the call, Zelnick referred to the Standard Edition as an $80 game that is meant to deliver value against historical production costs. The transcript we read did not announce a new date, a PC version or details about an online mode.
What is not confirmed: sales results, which cannot exist until the game is on shelves, and anything about post-launch plans beyond what Take-Two already said.
For players, the date in your calendar is still the date, with about three months of runway when the call took place and no sign of a new delay from the publisher.
