PlayStation highlights DualSense haptics, adaptive triggers, Tempest 3D AudioTech and fast loading from the SSD Confirmed. We make no claims about resolution or frame rates, because Rockstar has not published any.

Storage

No install size has been announced. GTANerd estimated 150 to 200 GB and advised clearing 200 to 250 GB Estimate. GTAbase says circulating figures have no reliable source Unconfirmed. Treat both as guesses.

  • PS5: PlayStation says a compatible M.2 SSD can raise storage up to 8 TB. A PS5 game kept on a USB drive must be moved back to the internal SSD to play Confirmed.
  • Xbox Series S: GTAbase says the 512 GB model leaves around 364 GB for games Unconfirmed. Check your own free space.
  • Xbox Series X: check your free space on the console.

Internet and accounts

Store listings say certain features may need an internet connection, a Rockstar Games account, or a single-use serial code Confirmed. PlayStation lists offline play. Which features need a connection is not specified. You also need to download the game: even physical copies are code-in-box with no disc Confirmed. Plan for a large download and see the pre-load guide.

PC

No PC version has been announced, so there are no PC specs, and any "requirements" you see for PC are made up. See platforms and PC status.
